- Carrying out preparatory work to contribute to new policy initiatives particularly in the area of youth employment and development, this entailed involvement in the drafting chapters of the Sixth National Development Plan for Zambia (SNDP):

- Preparing for Zambia's formal application to join the United Nation's global Youth Employment Network
