Coordination at UWC and RUB

The steering committee of the South African - German Centre of Development Research is supported by two academic coordinators, one on the German and one on the South African side.

Ina Conradie is responsiblefor the coordination of the centre at the University of the Western Cape.

Dr. Gabriele Baecker, Executive Director of the IEE, officially opened the new Master of Arts in Development Management (MA DM) intake in Cape Town on May 3, 2010. The Master of Arts in Development Management intake consists of nineteen students from twelve countries around the world. Four students of the current intake receive a scholarship from the South African-German Centre for Development Research and Criminal Justice.
